Non Latex Condoms

Non Latex Condoms came about when there are a number of people who are allergic or sensitive to latex condoms, since most of the condoms made and is still are from latex materials, this introduction solves many problems associated with people who are allergic to it.

One of the problem that is a problem is that, the cost to manufacture them is a lot higher due to the production process and mainly the demand for it. there is also the problem of the lack of different sizes associated with the non latex condoms.

In Australia at the moment there are a few different non latex condoms to choose from and they are

There is an increasing demand for it however, until there is enough demand the market for non-latex condoms, the range would be minimal

Female Condom

Condoms were designed for males that is until recently, well not really recently give or take around 10 years ago (need to confirm) but has now become more mainstream only in the last few years. It is
really a great invention. One of the reasons is that for the males who don't like to put on a condom this allows another way of contraceptions and prevention of STI,

There is however a few issues associated with the female condom,  mainly the cost associated with it. Let's compare between the two. a  pack of condoms normally consist of 12 condoms which retails for
around AUD 7 - 9 dollars whereas a pack of female condoms normally  consists of 3 retails around 8 - 10 dollars. Which is a lot more  expensive.

Availability is another issue, being to a few major retail chain and  couldn't find the female condom anywhere, it only readily available  source is online Other issues is that it is more difficult to put on or into the
vaginal area and the effective is less than that of a normal condom. I think that there is still much development in the female condom and  and hopefully in not too long future it would become a mainstream
product.

Lubricants with Condoms

Some people have been wondering why was lubrication invented and what was the original purpose of it, well I did a litle bit of research and from some of the sources that I found is that in the original stages of the development of condoms, the common problem is that it
constantly break during intercourse, and the main course was due to friction.

One way to overcome this problem was to add lubrication on the condoms or the vaginal area, before intercourse and that greatly reduce the chance of the condom breaking.

Even with the advance in technology with the condoms being more durable, it is still highly recommended to use condoms along with a lubricant.

some of the condoms you buy at a shop, often the manufacturer would include sachets of lubricants for you to try, whereas they can all be purchase separately.

In time we will be reviewing different brands of condoms and lubricants, along with our readers reviews, to help you choose the right one for you

Condoms - The new beginning

This is a blog dedicated to condoms, lubricants and other related products, if there is something you would like to comment or for me to raise it in this blog post a comment.

Condom really is an interesting little gadget that was first invented to prevent pregnancy and STD or now better referred to as STI (Sexually transmitted infection).

It is a simple device really, but it's now more then just a condom, it's now a device to protect and to enjoy coming in all shapes and sizes, colored, flavoured, ribbed, and many more.

It has also become a multibillion dollar industry which is continuing to grow everyday. The more people understand the idea of safe sex the more condoms is used.

This is my first post, If there is anything you would like to add please let me know.
