Hotshots: Condoms for 12yr olds!

In Switzerland a condom called Hotshots has been produced specifically for 12 year old boys! The product is in response to research showing that 12-14 year olds were not using adequate protection while having sex. Studies are showing that people are having sex at younger ages.

The Hotshots cost around $7.85 for a 6 pack and are created by leading Swiss condom manufacturer Lamprecht AG. They are around 4.5cm in diameter which are smaller than the standard size condoms which measure around 5.2 cm.

At the moment they are only sold in Switzerland but, keep a look out as the manufacturer has indicated that they might consider exporting their product to other countries.

Condoms Australia will surely be on alert on any progress of Hotshots in Australia!

Does Size Really Matter?

So does size really matter? What is the truth behind this age old question?

Well according to the website Askmen.com a recent survey of 800 men of all shapes, sizes and races concluded that the average size of a man's penis is 5.5 inches. So if your penis is not 12 inches don't be shy, there are plenty of men out there, probably the same size penis.

So does size really matter?
It helps, but its not the be all and end all. There is no use wielding a large sword if you don't know how to use it. By the same token using a small sword might be just as effective as a larger one if you know how to use it. Basically the point is to be a good lover, you are not judged on the size of you penis. It's what you do with it and how you use it that really matters.

Remember this guys it's not the size of the ship, its the motion of the ocean.

Six Reasons For Condom Failure

Condoms Are one of the most widely used contraceptive methods today. But they are only effective so long as the condom does its job properly.

Condom Failure can be due to:
  • The Condom was not used properly... But i'm guessing most people know how to put on a condom however, for those who don't its always best to ask someone who knows. Don't hesitate to ask through the blog, discretion will be given.
  • Condom breaks during sex. Condom breaks can be minimised through lubricants. Make sure the lubricants are water based as oil- based lubricants weaken the condom.
  • Condom not manufactured properly i.e. the Counterfeit Condoms
  • Condom expiration has passed. No seriously, when condoms expire the lose their elasticity causing an increase chance of breakage
  • Condom was damaged after manufacture
  • Condom was used more than once. I know EWW, who would do that but you would be surprised.

Beware of COUNTERFEIT CONDOMS

The Times in London has recently reported a case in China where a factory has been discovered producing fake condoms! There is a frantic search by police to seize over a million counterfeit prophylactics produced by an illegal factory in Hunan Province.

The illegal factory had employees using vegetable oil to lubricate the condoms and placing then in fibre bags with no sterilization in place. Using vegetable oil is an absolute no-no as it rapidly weakens the condoms.

These fake condoms do not provide the contraceptive measures that regular condoms do. The fact is they don't protect against pregnancy and STD's.

The factory produced more than 2 million counterfeit condoms labeled as
  • Jisson
  • Durex.
  • Rough Rider
  • Six sense
  • Love card.
Too make sure your not a victim of counterfeit condoms of any nature make sure you buy your condoms from a trusted source such as Condoms Australia.
